Ordering Images

Note: Atlantic Archives now offers full digital capability from camera to client.

To order an image simply make note of the catalog number of the desired image and include it in an e-mail to images@richardleojohnson.com Please include all information about the nature of the request: requesting organization, type of use, contact information, and any other pertinent information.

Please note that an order for an image shall be considered as acceptance of the general Terms and Conditions for Use of Images. Please read the terms before placing your order.

Minimum price for any use is $250.

We will promptly respond to all inquiries.

Standard Digital Formats

Images in digital archives are available for immediate download upon approval of licensing agreement.

Digital formats normally available (standard) are:

• 2400 pixels max. dimension
• 1600 pixels max. dimension
• 1200 pixels max. dimension
• 1024 pixels max. dimension
• 640 pixels max. dimension (web usage, may be optimized to exact size desired upon request)

All digital files are RGB, 1.8 gamma, uncompressed TIF unless otherwise requested.

Digital files on CD will be sent priority mail unless otherwise specified.

Digital files may also be made available for download from an ftp site. Arrangements for download must be made in advance.

Digital images may incorporate minor corrections for color, brightness, perspective and composition. Images optimized for web use are available on request. Corrections are in all cases made based on the specific image and no batch processing is used in the correction process.
